
Sushi
Make your own sushi roll, where you can put any ingredients you want, add more brown rice and vegetables for a healthier meal.

Ingredients

6 ounces shiitake mushrooms

3 nori sheets

1 cup red cabbage (thinly sliced)

3 thin strips of cucumber

½ avocado, sliced into strips

1 cup brown rice

Season them however you like

Instruction (how to roll)

Place one nori sheet, onto a bamboo mat and press the brown rice onto the lower two-thirds of the nori sheet.

Place your toppings at the bottom of the rice (make sure it doesn't overflow, as it is more difficult to roll)

Using the bamboo mat, tuck and roll the nori, while gently pressing and shaping the roll.

Once done use a sharp knife to cut the sushi (a damp knife, makes it easier to cut)

Serve with soy sauce
Notes

If you want to store your roll overnight, don't cut it and store it as a roll
